Bing Adds New Crawlers to Support Non-Responsive Mobile Designs

“Google actually relies on our users to help with our marketing. We have a very high percentage of our users who often tell others about our search engine.” (Sergey Brin)

Bing is amongst one of the largest search engines on which daily so many searches are made. Like Google, it has modified with time rendering significant services to men on daily basis.

Non Responsive Websites

The strategies of search engines have been transitioning with time. Lately, the trend of responsive web designs has invaded the ground and amongst the popular websites responsive web formats are much oriented whereas amongst the less popular websites non responsive formats are witnessed. These non responsive websites are supported by Bing by initiating the webmasters to augment the use of CSS and Javascript which are the significant part of any website that bolster the web page to load easily.

Google

By the augmented use of CSS and Javascript, search engines are able to probe more web crawlers within the websites to depict the layout of what our users expect from us by experiencing a similar layout on their screen by the grace of web crawlers.

Like Google, Bing also probes within the websites for the identification of their format which can either be responsive or non-responsive. This will enable Bing to identify that how iPhone and Android phones display relative websites and how Bing should optimize in case of non responsive web sites.

Mobile Friendly websites

The addition of web crawlers in the search engines will be a great asset of Bing, as Bing will be able to recognize how both non responsive and responsive websites are viewed on the mobile screens.

Lee Xiong, Manager of the Bing Crawl Team, emphasized that mobile friendly sites should be inflated since mobile now has the highest esteem and consideration. Due to which he imposed web developers to formulize patterns of websites that revolve around mobile friendly lay out and responsive web pages.

He also cleared all the misconceptions regarding websites that are operated on various devices other than desktops. He exemplified by considering the examples of a number of websites that avoid duplicity in the provision of separate URLs for one website operated from a number of devices. He repeatedly stressed that the original URL of the website should be used for responsive web layouts.

Bing has always been under stress to invent something innovative for a sound user experience due to which among the newest techniques web crawlers are yet on the first rank. They are on the first rank because they are able to probe within the websites by the augmented use of CSS and Javascript. Due to which Bing is able to recognize and comprehend the layout that its users expect it to deduce. Moreover, the use of mobile friendly websites and responsive websites is emphasized.

“The ultimate search engine would basically understand everything in the world, and it would always give you the right thing. And we're a long, long ways from that.” (Larry Page)
