Ecommerce groups facing legal threats

Ecommerce industry has been expanding in the sense of revenue and definitely size. One of the countries having greatest population, such as India has an estimated ecommerce industry of $11 billion which seems to be growing even now. But brick and mortar retailers of the Indian population are much opposed to the success of E-commerce industry since they’re fortune seems to decline if the success rate of online e-commerce industry persists.

According to certain sources, it has been revealed that the online ecommerce channels of India were initially developed in the home are now jingling in the limelight as the online sales recorded from these online ecommerce channels are pretty much soaring in the sky. Comparable with their existence ratio their sales are gigantically enormous. Their ratio seems to be less than 1% than the brick and mortar retailers of the country. A number of sources have also revealed this astonishing news that the pace in which the ecommerce industry of India is expanding by 2025 it would reach to almost $220 billion.

Not only this but it has been known that total of 18% sales have been achieved via online channels in consumer goods such as electronic appliances, furnitures etc. giving a massive blow to the country’s brick and mortar retailers.

Online marketplaces have been pretty much successful in the expansion of universal ecommerce growth as in the past 2 years they have helped to attain $5 billion from the worldwide investing chain systems such as Alibaba, Japan’s SoftBank etc. This financial investment received by the online merchants have aroused jealousy among the brick and mortar retailers of the company due to which now to the online marketplaces a legal threat persists.

 

Ignorance

Brick and mortar retailers of India are against the Indian prime minister of letting such illegalities occur in the country thus requesting the Delhi court to take an action against the selling of the goods from these online ecommerce channels.
