“Do not allude to the story. Tell the story.” (Kindra Hall)

Currently, on the internet each and every brand at some point is using the old outdated information. You think that you are doing right but unfortunately you are not. So before the holiday season knocks your doors just put these myths and old customs in the bin and look forward towards new approaches and new practices.

Myths exposed

1.       Keyword stuffing

The most world class myth that people still consider as a ‘must do strategy’ for attracting search bots is keyword stuffing. Trust me Google no more pays attention over stuffed keywords within a webpage. Such content which repeatedly contained similar words and their synonyms is strictly banned by Google and its subsequent update.

That doesn’t mean don’t focus over keywords, use the keywords within an optimal frequency and use it on correct places such as within URLs, meta tags, tags, title tags etc.

2.       Videos and images

People do not used to consider videos and images relevant for enticing Google bots. However, this is not the case. On page SEO is hugely dependent over videos and images as keyword related audio, video and image puts more light towards the keyword and is considered to be keyword strengthening.

3.       Link building

As one of the panda updates has penalized those websites who had links from those website which were suspicious and were black hats. So, it was assumed that link building has deemed and that now with great quality content links can be earned instead of link building. Though with great quality content links can be earned without a doubt but the idea and channel of link building is still in the market.

And this is the reason why SEO agency Dubai considers both over link building and link earning.

4.       Google rankings

Google rankings matter the most necessarily. But they are not the only aim to consider while doing SEO as ranking number 1 will not help if your page is not optimized in that manner. Doing SEO with Google ranking consideration is necessary but do SEO with overall optimization.

“Optimize for what would happen IF you ranked, do not optimize to rank.” (Will Critchlow)
