UX design and your website

“Good design is good business.” (Thomas J. Watson)

UX design is the most significant part of a website and what amazing fact is it that most of us are unaware of this term despite having the knowledge of bad user experience. UX design is a kind of systematic approach to understand completely and fully the intended market for which the website has been designed. Moreover, after understanding the intended audience various efforts are made to completely mold the content of the website for the intended audience.

Site audience

As mentioned above, UX design helps in understanding the right audience of the website. The following information about the intended audience must be known;

·         Age

·         Occupation

·         Education

·         Interests

·         Locality

·         And a number of general aspects

The main purpose of understanding the intended audience relates to the fact of the creation of User experience design behind which the concept of persuading the perceptions and decisions of the intended audience regarding the company is hidden.

Are they designers?

Many of us might be bewildered while wandering and thinking about the puzzle that all those people out there who are concerned with the task of designing and integrating with the UX design, really are called as ‘designers’? Not just because they do not seem to design something doesn’t matter they can’t be regarded as ‘designers’. These people are often called as interaction designers since they hold the entire agenda of synchronizing and gathering information about the audience and integrate in the UX design for enchanted user experience.

Responsive design

So far you must have perceived the major motto of UX design. UX design is all about maintaining and providing a good user experience. In doing so, responsive web design or adaptive web design cannot be ignored since it is the basic theme for the best layout of user experience throughout all devices. Responsive web design adds the attribute of fluidity to a website and that’s how good user experience is maintained.
And with a good user experience crowds of users appear whereas without one the results are nil.

“Designing is a matter of concentration. You go deep into what you want to do. It's about intensive research, really. The concentration is warm and intimate and like the fire inside the earth - intense but not distorted. You can go to a place, really feel it in your heart. It's actually a beautiful feeling.” (Peter Zumthor)
