Web design is dead
31 Jul 2015

“The aim of marketing is to know and understand the customer so well the product or service fits him and sells itself.” (Peter Drucker)

From the latest perspective, no more web pages have the same significance as they had formerly. You must assume now that web design is dead and in order to sail successfully without sinking down you need to think other than web design which lies in the category of ecosystems and products based upon consumer choice.

Below is a brief summary discussing about the fade future of web design in the form of symptoms illustrating the fact that if web design is not dead by now, it will be dead in no time soon.  Web design is dead because it has expanded beyond its possibilities and now no further expansion can be afforded.

Symptom: Substitution by templates

Today, whatever you see within the website is created by means of a substructure which you call it as WordPress or Drupal. This substructure is pretty much of use as it provides shortcuts which terminate over the required link that you are looking for thereby saving your precious time. Resultantly, a number of templates seemed to have operated based upon the scheme of these substructures. These templates are the better substitute for a web designer as they can help you in the creation of the web page in a very economical price.

Symptom: Web designs and forms

Currently, you cannot say any of the web design form as the most up to the minute form or pattern. Indeed you will come up with the lame answers inclusive of responsive design or parallax but dude the former one is like centuries old and the latter one was not much needed. Hence, not much creation by the time is going within web design forms.

If we calculate the gross output of the familiarity of the forms of web design then it seems that amending any of it will be harmful as the users are pretty much familiar with the web pages. Any change will let them loose their familiarity.

Symptom: Mobile

Let me ask you all one simple question, from your mobile phones how much y’all use internet browsers and type a URL to surf a particular website? Definitely, as long as you are devoid of the respective app. The best substitute for web pages which brands have provided to consumers is mobile app. Brands have blindly created mobile apps which are absolutely devoid of home screen patterns.

Web pages still seem to have a number of obstructions as we cannot successfully and instantaneously browse between a number of websites on the internet via our mobile phones due to internet troubles thereby being incapable of supplying a better and smoother web experience.

Reality

The reality is we no more need a bulk of web pages because in the world of today nobody has for granted time to explore all that you have dunked within your website. The real need what a user looks for is content specifically created for the ultimate requirement of the user. This is the reason why Google now displays content without letting us jump over to websites thereby saving our time and satisfying consumer needs.

“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” (Mahatma Gandhi)
