TELE MARKETING

With the word ‘tele’ it is easier to perceive about the concept of marketing enclosed in the word ‘telemarketing’ i.e. marketing or sales during calls.

Telemarketing sometimes is called as ‘inside sales’ or ‘telesales’. It is a method involving selling over a call and persuading a consumer to transform into a customer there by buying products offered.

The history of telemarketing dates back to 19th century and it became popular during the 20th century in North America.

There are basically 2 categories of telemarketing, business to business and business to customer.

And the procedure of telemarketing involves 2 sets of calls. First determines the customers need whereas the second persuades the customer to buy the product.

 - Failure:

Telemarketing after the contrivance of advertisement over televisions and radio diminished and failed to maintain its stabilized platform.

Telemarketing, nowadays, is believed to be mostly scam and fraud. Fraudulent telemarketing is referred as ‘boiler room’. And it is also referred as an unethical business practice. It is also too costly without the assurance of probable profit.

 

TECHNOLOGY

Technology exploits tools and other machinery for the ease of human life. And there are many branches of technology, each showing miraculous inventions in their respective fields.

Technology modifies the existing solution into a more cock-a-hoop and blissful solid invention for the well being of homo-sapiens and other animal species.

By the constructive use of technology, the promotion of the product can be boosted exponentially, converting it into an eminent brand dancing in the lime light from a mini brand.

CONVENTIONAL MARKETING

Conventional marketing was a former method of advertisement which is still prevalent among the developing countries whereas in the developed countries it is now extinct. It basically involves the incorporation of advertisement on television or radio and face-to-face communication with a rendezvous schedule with the customer for efficient PR. The conventional marketing requires a whole lot of personnel with a division of labor. Involvement of a manufacturer supplying goods to a wholesale market that ultimately supplies to a retail distributor for the easy approach of the consumer.

Over time the needs and priorities of people have changed drastically, easy and quick access being the primal priorities of the generation of today.

Prior to the mass usage of internet tactics, the world was the place to explore for explorers. But with the up rise of technologies, now the space is the interest of explorers. Relying on various methods of technology, including searches over computers, saving data on computer (minimize the use of other resources) and building marketing strategies will prove to be more elusive in the future.
